They are the same red. The second one looks like it lived outside. Red paint fades from UV. The plastic and metal also seem to fade at a different rate. First pick looks nice.

the brighter red looks like a awesome great buff job to bring back the bright red back out of it.

The red paint dodge used is the worst, or rather they did a poor job of painting the trucks with it. Mine has different shaded panels mainly due to being an outside truck its whole life. The clear on the bed rails, spoiler, roof are starting to bite the dust too.

It's all In the camera and lighting. Lois like the show room one they used a good camer or maybe a filter to make it look good. a picture outside will never look like an inside picture
