2 step

Not sure what that means

It's like a bump box for turbo cars, or stick shifts , msd sells them , you know I was going to ask about this not too long ago

I have wiring schematic for that kit also if anyone buys it, I have it in my truck havnt finish install yet but will have it done in time for Chrysler nationals

Cool, thanks

I see why small engine turbo cars need this (they make no torque). What is the benefit to a large displacement NA motor? If OP is going single turbo boosted then I guess I can see why he'd want one. I just dont see the need for them. You usually only see hear them in 4 bangers and turbo 6's.

Big v8 turbo cars run these also, read up or look them up on YouTube , for an avid drag racer they are somewhat beneficial, as far as launching harder on the clutch and power shifting without releasing the mash pedal!

Totally senseless in our trucks unless you have a huge ass turbo. Don't rice your Viper Truck lol

Can you send me the schematics , will this work with the msd 2 step ?

any way i can get this from you? looking for something to help with locating some of the wires and components this is attached to. thanks

Your post it totally senseless. Two steps are used for consistency, not just building boost. Not everyone goes rev their vehicle up at a red light, some of us race at a track and give it hell off the line.

i have been looking at one of these n2mb boxes also anyone know if you have to remove intake to get to any specific wiring to hook one of these up... i need to build some boost on the line

I'm saying 99% of the 10 fastest trucks ever built on here are not on any two step. Stall converter, line lock, trans brake sure, but not 2step. I think there are ZERO bracket racers here. Sooo....see my point? It not a necessity by any means unless building boost off the line is your goal. Then there's not many at all here that could put that kinda launch to the pavement.

You t56 swapped a slow quad cab. That makes less sense then a two step for fun or track. It makes you slower and less consistent plus dont forget way way more prone to breaking. But it's cool to show off and brag. That's more of a ricer mod than a 2 step. I know this, because i done it.

Maybe his goal is to be consistent on the launch or other things.

You can explain how it isnt needed and perhaps ask him why instead of calling it a ricer mod. And it can be used to build boost on a blower truck as well. It doesnt need to be a big ass turbo. See my point? smiley face wink wink

Dude you're way off. First off I helped you make a 6 speed Ligntning if you recall ;)
The 6 speed conversion I developed had every bit of sense behind it. More power, more fuel mileage, and around a second faster in 1/4! Win win! Consistent 1.63-1.65 60ft, consistent times. Never broke anything on it!
But yes, to each his own. Wink wink
