I'm a fairly new owner (purchased from private seller a few months ago). The weirdest thing happened the other day after a carwash. I had a steady stream of water come pouring out of the top screw hole in the driver's side grab handle. It lasted about 30-45 seconds and didn't come back. How the heck is water getting in there? I can't seem to find the right sized socket to get in there and check it out, but I know I can't just ignore it. I talked to another guy who simply said "Yeah, my Ram does that too", but he never bothered to have it checked out. I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has ever dealt with this strange issue before taking it into the shop.

Is it a QC with a sunroof? Check for plugged drainage channels. If no sunroof, check seal on third brake light. High pressure water from a car wash could find its way in there.

Sunroof drain tubes are the number one culprit there (if equipped with a sunroof)

I second that. Had it happen to me. Checked the drain tubes. They were plugged and shriveled up cut them back a little no issues

Windshield or sunroof drains. I've also seen 3rd brake lights missing gaskets leak. Aftermarket 3rd brake light housings too.
