Hey guys i have 70 chevy Monte Carlo that i bought since i was 15. It is now 7 years later and its still sitting in my backyard. Well the engine blew a lifter and fried the camshaft so i yanked the motor. I want get the car running with a good used or new 350 but i want keep the cost down. Does anyone know a forum i could go to or perhaps a good junkyard here in so-cal that i could score at? OR perhaps some one that might just be looking for a Monte...

Pick Your Part or Ecology auto wrecking in Wilmington, or you can drive down the Alameda corridor from Carson to Wilmington and find several junk yards. I've been to several, last time got a 305 chevy small block, complete with carb & everything for 400 bux. That was about 4 years ago though :dontknow:

My buddy has a complete, running 400 he's pulling out of his '68 Firebird(motor is fine, just not #s matching), if you're not too picky. Don't know what he wants for it, but I'll ask if you're interested.
