Tried to bleed the clutch but no oil is coming out the bottom also it was low on oil when I checked the reservoir what can I do?

No there no oil that I could see but when i tried bleeding it no oil comes out the bottom and reservoir is full

Mine started losing fluid but never left any puddles under it. I nursed it for about 6 months just adding fluid every other day. Finally the slave cylinder blew then it puked out all the fluid. I limped it home in first gear then replaced the Clutch and Slave along with the throw out bearing. My clutch had 97,000 on it and looked very good but I replaced it as the work is a lot to risk doing again.
Clutch and Disc was about $220.00 at Orielly's same brand as Factory and lifetime Warrantee. Slave cylinder from Ebay was under $100.00. Same as Factory set up. I also changed the Pedal Master cylinder just to be safe. $75.00 at Oreilly's.

Your slave is going out, I would replace it before it completely fails and puts in you a lock out situation where you can't change gears.

Matter of fact I'd change out the master with your mileage as well since the trans has to come out.

Mine went out as I was about to make a left turn out of my neighborhood

Earl lee is correct...your slave is on its last legs. Mine did the same. I replaced with the metal OEM Viper version. I had a day free and decided to pull the transmission myself. Fairly straight forward but I was surprised by the weight...it ain't light!

You can get a complete kit from roe racing or Jmb, its just a maintenance item that has to be replaced as the truck gets older.

I bought mine from JMB. Completely bled and ready to install out of the box. Though, I understand that is the way it comes from the OEM as well. Needless to say, other than R&R the transmission a very easy swap out. I can't see a repair shop charging more than $300 labor. As transmissions go our 6sp is pretty simple as well to get in or out.

One of the main benefits of a manual vs an automatic in my opinion.

I would at least get one that can handle the power your paxton is helping with. I personally like my southbend clutch I got from JTSVP.com

Thanks will a south bend daily stage 2 do the work I do drive it alot on the weekends and to work?

Another ? Is it worth getting the upgraded master and slave for 500.00?

Prior owners of my truck each replaced it once when they had it, so that was twice as im 3rd owner and guess what it failed again on me.

So I went with the upgraded or basically the actually viper versions of these parts.
