Hey from a dead stop do yalls tires break loose? I'm wondering if I have a major power loss somehow. I've had the truck for a year, k&n cai that's it. But I figured with the size of these motors I'd have traction issues. If I stand on it with out the brake It just takes off like there's a traction control system. No spinning, however if I tap the brake of coarse they spin.
 
If you dont have a tune that what you need. Mine was a little light on a launch before I got tune. Pretty sure the torque management in the PCM reduces the torque on the autos to save the trans.
 
Mine was the same when I bought it and is the same now I blame it on the big cam but I rather be movin than spinning
 
When mine was bone stock,,, it would depend on the surface, but usually would light them up.. After I got a tune and the torque management turned off, it will light them up at will 0-20
 
Like they said...get a tune, plug n play. Turns off torque management and ups rev limiter. You won't stop smiling!:burnout:
 
Wow, you save on vendor fees and still get to hawk your stuff to new owners. Win Win I'd say.
 
What's involved in getting the trucks tuned? My truck is stock other then a k&n cai and none stock muffler.
