Good morning my fello 10 owners. I've had the truck for a week now and am starting to notice oil dripping from the passenger side front fender. The cooler lines are braided and appear to be in good condition. Any suggestions as to where else the oil could possibly be leaking from? The truck sits to low to get a good look and my mechanic is booked until the end of the week. Oil filter is a napa brand but it is clean. There is a rip in the steering boot but this leak doesn't appear to be atf fluid. Thanks in advance.

Either cooler lines, (some tried making their own that didn't work out so great) or your cooler itself. Rid the Napa filter and only run mopar and Mobil 1 15/50.

I think your right. I took her for a spin then rechecked by turning the wheel so I could get a clear visual of the cooler lines and fittings. It appears to leak from the fitting going to the block, small drip. I just dropped some cash on brakes, it will be a week or two before I can order new lines. I'll drive the daytona until I can order the parts.

Mopar filter 90? I think that's what I use on the tona.

Is there an actual shop I can purchase the oil cooler lines?

Jtsvp or the viper store. Or from venomous 1 himself. You could always make your own like I did

Venomous1’s phone number is in his signature

This may be a stupid question, but did you try tightening the lines....?

Any local Hydraulic Hose Shop has exactly the braided hose and fittings you need. They can make them up. Otherwise you're gonna get ripped.

A Viper shop in Waco? HAHAHAHA that's funny.

Here we go again----nothing better to do than slam. API is spectacular. API stands for "average personal intelligence"

Thanks for the input fellas. Scott took care of me.

Thanks Scott for the lines (not those kind of lines:D) and the joyride.

I made mine for about $150 did my power steering lines also

I did the same. The PS line connection up at the PS pump is just as poorly engineered as the oil cooler lines. Dodge went for speed of assembly rather than reliability. Their quick connects suck. And, no, you can't just tighten up a bit lol. ;)

It was nice meeting you and showing you how a stock 104k mile truck still rapes apes :burnout: on 24's!!! ;)

Heh Scott just curious any reason in particular you prefer the 15 50 weight oil over the 0 4 0 oe recommended oil at least my book stated the 0 40 that's what I have used since i purchased the truck
