It seems you are correct
A nice thing about trucks is you can keep them going far longer than a car, because we have a full-frame to bolt whatever we want to it.
So years from now when gas is gone we can keep our batteries covering the floor of the box charged, and our 1000 hp electric motor happy. Or set it up like a train and put an electric motor on each wheel for an all-wheel-drive solution.
It seems like there will always be some kind of internet around to swap ideas and stories about hobbies and other stuff.
