So ive had my Nittos for about 7 years now.... They don't grip anymore. Like I can spin the tires in 3rd gear at 50 mph in the rain- and on dry no traction in 1st or 2nd gear.

I like the Nittos because of the price but I hate the way they handle.
The only other decent tire looks like the Pirelli Scorpions.

Anyone have any other suggestion? I want traction in the stock 22" wheel.

Lol good luck bro!! I think consensus was general grabber best cheap tire for traction and Pirelli Scorpion best tire period. My wife has the nittos on her escalade and it rides nice so idk Im gonna go with venemous1's wheel package as soon as its time for new shoes

Grip wise stock tire is the best, but the quality issues with them (not being able to balance properly) sucks about them. Im currently running Toyo Proxies ST II's now. They drive better than the Pirelli's but they dont have the same grip.

Our wheel size severely limits our ability to get a good tire.

I just bought another set of generals before I left cali. Love them. I tried the nittos, toyo's and oem. Generals are awesome.

Yeah.... FRESH stock Pirelli's are the way to go. (make sure manufacture date is within a year)

The only tire with more grip and lighter was the BFG KDW's (Gone)

The Zero Asimmetrico is the grippiest, lightest, highest speed and load rated tire available for our trucks.

Make sure they are properly balanced and run the recommended 38 psi on all 4, warm them before pushing them and you will have street launch grip and great cornering regardless of speed.

Cheers!
