The 05 is different.
The autozone site is wrong, the 06 QC srt rack is different from the standard rack in turn to turn lock and amount of power assist. The 06 QC srt rack was specific to the 06 QC srt, according to the dealer the 04/05 QC rack is used on some models 2500/3500. I had the maval rack that is the same fitment as listed for the Autozone one and it was 3 turns lock to lock and the original is less than 2.75 turns lock to lock, along with a difference in inner tie rod.

Update, I fixed the old one. If you adjust the aluminum female hex cap on the side of the input tower on the rack, you can dial out the slop in the rack. I am just going to clean up the grease side under the boots and put it back in now.
My brother just put a brand new one on mine, parts were $250
