Not all of the parts store ones are junk. Mine has been in the truck a few years flawlessly. The failure rate may be higher but I guess I'm lucky like that.
Idles high after driving for about 20 mins

Back like I promised after paying $137.00 for tps and 94.00 for is iac valve from dealer the second I connected the tps and started the truck up the check engine light went off then call me crazy but the truck just runs and feels more responsive again it’s DD but even so I get on the gas and it runs great driving around for a couple hours now running errands shifts better even the tachometer needle actually travels with the speed of the vehicle before it would just get stuck or not move at at all and that’s not in my head because it annoyed me and it’s worked so far today and one last thing the problem I had thst started this thread is gone idles great and runs great
Its probably the lifters... lol

Nope, the lifter problem is in Elbo's head.
