Looking to install a water/methanol injection system in my truck with a supercharger. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Depends on your goals. I have a set up that came with my truck(I didn't care for how it was installed due to wires were going everywhere. Washer fluid reservoir was the reservoir for the boost juice. The pump was mounted below in on the under bumper shield. I would put the nozzle on the bottom of the tube on the intake so its out of site. pretty easy to hook up. I'm going to get my truck tuned first to see if I reinstall everything. Pm me if you need pics or more help.
I have a couple of threads on my water/meth install with pics. http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/f8/custom-water-meth-pump-bracket-32954/ http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/f8/working-my-new-mod-32721/ http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/f8/water-meth-install-phase-3-a-33112/ http://www.vtcoa.com/forums/f8/water-meth-injection-final-phase-33204/
I have a Aquamist HFS-3 setup with a custom tank that fits perfectly behind the passenger seat in the plastic tray. Aquamist is a top player in the water injection game. Paid $1200.00 for it new, Id sell it for $500.00. Email me as I dont come her often anymore. tyler at pentagonfarm dot com
Sorry for the late reply, I run methanol on my 87’ Turbo Buick. Not too sure how it works with a normally aspirated situation. I have a few tunes from Torrie at Unleashed Tuning, but still fighting the poor fuel quality here in California!!!! 91 octane sux
