So here is the question, I am having some belt slip issues, my set up is the stock pulley size for the Paxton and a 9" lower. the belt I currently have on is a gates green 112" 8 rib belt(cut on rib off) I am seeing 9lbs at times. I was trying to find a 111" belt but have no luck. the only one I found was 111.2" but 6 rib. so what to do? try to find some larger idler pulleys or can I space out the ac with some metal spacers?

Hey there, I'm not experienced with this exact setup, just trying to help. So is your 9" lower already an overdrive crank pulley?

Also, the green belts from my understanding are pretty good, but have you tried a Gates RPM belt? I read they're not as stretchy and won't slip provided you have good tension. I found a Gates RPM 111" 6-rib on RockAuto for around $50. Part #K061110RPM. Couldn't find any 7-rib close to your desired size right now. I plan on trying an RPM belt for my Paxton charged Hemi.

If this idea interests you, you can check some other forums about them and make your own opinion. I found a few Corvette and Mustang threads with all kinds of supercharger setups. Stock Eaton, Paxton/Vortech, Whipple, etc.

Your idea with larger pulleys and spacing the A/C might help, too. I'd try the slip on solution first, then get creative. ;)

Good luck, hope this helps.

Thanks for that info. I found the same belt also on rock auto. I am Currently running the rpm series belt on my hellcat. But i did find a fix for this. I spaced out the ac compressor an 1/2 inch to take the slack off . So far so good. I haven't noticed any belt slip at all.

I'm no help on the subject but I wanted to say how amazing your engine bay looks. Keeping it that clean I'm sure doesn't come easy.
