I have reported about the troubles I had with O’Reilly’s and their TPS. 2 bad ones and on the 3rd. I had another issue but could live with it until I got time to fix. When I hit a bump or pot hole that jarred the front end the engine would die. Only for a slit second then run like nothing ever happened. No codes. Some bridges have a little bump when entering and leaving the highway. The dying would often happen then also. Well low and behold when I got the new TPS installed it has never happened again. And yes I have been on some real bumpy roads. I (not being a mechanic) can’t fathom how the TPS would do this but………..

Good to know, originally did you throw a code to even find out it was the TPS ?

No code, just the way it was running. I explained it here on the site and got the responses from a number of folks. That is what this place is all about.
