Hi guys! I would like to upgrade the shock absorbers on my 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab. Should I go for Bilstein Shocks? I have read so many good reviews about their HD shocks.

My local shop sourced the dealer and came back with 1200.00 for a set of 4
I tend to see them a lot cheaper online, but dont want to get counterfeit crap
Any suggestions on where to go and is that 1200.00 out of line?

Replace mine at 140,000 miles and wanted a smother ride (I being 72) and that was a huge mistake. Going back with OEM.

Check with jtsvp ,,, he has adjustable shocks

I message bilstein they said it was a contract they had with those trucks can't buy OEM they do have superceded parts wich have a new part number may be better. I was looking into that the way I bought the truck they installed kyb cheap black ones.

I also contacted Bilstein on a rebuild service for our trucks. They told me they will not as technically they are Dodge parts as they were build as OEM.
They did give me this company as an alternative.. http://deltavee.net/shop/services/bilstein-shock-rebuild-service-2/

P.S.
I have a full set (5) of sub 20K with the kicker for an 04-06 REGULAR CAB I will consider selling. I was going to do a kicker shock upgrade on my quad but have lost interest.

How much are you asking for the set of the used bilstein if the price is reasonable I'll be a buyer

That's what I got a few years ago, and going to do it again...
