Hello VTCOA Fam, just wanted to get some feedback from you guys/gals. I’ve had my truck for a few years now and I’m ready to lower my truck. I know JTVSP products are top notch(I know because I already have some of their products), but has anyone tried both front springs? Either had belltech front springs and swapped them out for the JTSVP springs? Or took a ride in someone’s truck(with either or springs) and then got the other springs? JTSVP website says 10% stiffer than stock, so I know for a fact they will be better for a daily driver. I’ve read on here that the belltech springs are for the Hemi trucks, which would mean they would be softer than the JTSVP springs. For some of us wanting to drag race our trucks every once in a awhile, wouldn’t we want the softer spring to lift the front end for weight transfer? I bought the belltech flip kit already, without shocks. My plan is to add the flip kit with helper bags to stiffen the rear and also caltracs. I also plan on adding belltech street performance shocks on all 4 corners. The dilemma I’m having is which front springs to get. I did a little research and price wise is about $200 difference. Belltech front springs are about $200 and JTSVP front springs are about $400. Thank you all for your time and responses.

Personally I would call jtsvp and talk with tony ..

i agree with VIPR PWR.

been runnin Tony's for at least the last 3 to 4 years. they does goog

Get a Ground Force Lowering kit, specifically made for the Ram SRT10 truck. I got one... Love it!

You'll be good with either, but the Bell tech are great. They are stiffer then the others. If you have a QC, order the RC springs and you'll be happy, depending on how low you want to be. The RC Bell techs put the truck front end lower by like 1/2" if I remember.

But the service you get from Tony or our vendors is something money cant really buy.

So after a couple of months of gathering all my parts I installed them all and all I can say is it rides way better than before. Here’s is the list of parts I replaced,

Front and rear sway bars
Front and rear Endlinks/bushings
Front and rear sway bar bushings
Inner and outer tie rods
Front wheel/hub bearings
Lower ball joints
Upper control arms
Front springs
Camber plates
Isolator spring bushings
Front and rear bumpstops
Front and rear shocks
Rear flip kit(saddle welded)
Leaf spring bushings

Please let me know if your interested in part numbers, break down on cost and total cost of the parts. Thanks.

What year is your truck ? I’m assuming you have a QC since you installed a flip kit ! I’m interested in knowing what rear sway bar
Is on your truck QC trucks didn’t come with a rear sway bar !
Who makes them for the QC ? Pics would be nice !

Truck is a 05 Quad Cab. I was able to find a used set of Hotchkis Front and rear sway bars with Hotchkis rear endlinks part #2265. All I did was buy the rebuild kit from Hotchkis 2265RB, which is all new bushings. The front is definitely more beefier and lighter than the stock one. The bad news is I know they’re discontinued now. I know Belltech makes just the rear sway bar for the Quad Cabs. I’ll upload some pictures later tomorrow when I get home.

Thanks ,,, have you given it a good run to see if it’s better handling with the sway bars !

I’m still waiting to get everything dialed in at the alignment shop, I have an appointment next month. But I can definitely say it feels nice and tight. Rear feels more controlled and not all over the place like before. Especially going over bumps and tight turns.

Later this week I will also be replacing upper and lower control arms bushings. So everything is good to go for when I take it to the alignment shop. I will keep you guys posted on the results.

2004 Ram SRT10 2/doors(Silver)... Here's the Best, setup for this truck front/rear sway bar linkage, set of QA1 valve adjustment shocks (Expensive) over $200/each, but well worth it,Caltrac swaybar, and all new bushings. You will get the best riding, best handling, best launch from standing start with little to No wheel spinning. Oh, I almost forgot the main ingredient for the Best Handling and Riding Ram SRT10. Get the Ground Force Lowering kit, engineer for the truck! My truck, Love's freeway ramps at 70mph...

The Speed shop I use has my new McGaughy 2/4.5 lowering kit with coils, new rear leaf springs, (mine are wore out from previous owners doing shade tree lowering by removing a leaf, and stomping on the gas so much), Caltrack traction bars, new Moog Upper Control Arms and lower ball joints. Got a date set 11/21 - 22 to have everything installed. Can't wait. I've already replaced the U joints (Spicer), Carrier Bearing, tranny rear output shaft seal, shocks and new front wheel bearings. After the kits are installed, I'll be installing a Detroit Tru Track chunk in the rear and new rear wheel bearings and seals. Should be interesting to see how she rides after everything's installed.

I still haven’t had a chance to install my control arm bushing but here are some pictures of my whole process.
