Seems when.I stop.or go very slow it gets colder, and we all know its hard to go slow.

Need to have the system checked out to make sure you don't have a leak and get it recharged and you should be good after that.

Recirc door or a bad door actuator possibly.. there is a door and actuator above the fan motor that opens and closes letting the outside air enter or not .. they have a habit of breaking .. if the door is allowing the outside air to entire then it will not cool as well especially max A/C
Pic is my recirc door and where it broke off at the actuator connection .. the door actually fell into the fan in the blower motor container ... yes one heck of a noise it made ,, I removed the blower motor to pull out the part in the pic .. I have A/C but doesn’t blow as hard as it use to due to the recirculating door removed allowing the outside air to mix with the inside air ..
there are other doors and actuators through the system that operate and change depending on the setting your on ..
There was a replacement kit on the internet years ago that supposedly made it easier to replace without tearing out the entire dash ... dodge sold a complete box with doors .. might still be available.. I just left mine out .. maybe one day I’ll plug the the hole or replace the door and actuator lol ..

Another option is to remove the wiper vowel on the outside of the truck and block off the outside air intake from there .. easiest fix imo
