Finally got the truck back and I got the system put in, the pioneer x7800-bt

The gm-9605d pioneer 5 channel

And I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the rockfords on the doors or back panels
And this is through the stock infinity sub, it sounds ok but I'm ready shooting for the 2-12s or 1-15"

I have a friend that can do some bad ass routering with boxes I'm also thinking 2-12s, the kid got down on the wiring, I wanted the amp under the seat but that will work

Well I havnt got around to getting some 12s or making a box, so today I pulled the oem 10 and ran it in series to 8ohm and it sounds a bit better, I did try a 15" kicker and it rocks , just no room to mount it and cutting the box down would kill the sound , so I'm thinking of a Rockford PS3 10" to go right back in that box

Well I did it, I pulled the plug on 2-10" pioneer subs in a box , 4 ohms these should sound good

@Silver05 do Pioneer stereos still deliver? I know back in the days they did. What about now?

Sorry for being off topic. I'm hunting for a good head unit for my car. I'm in research mode for a few months now. I'm more lost than ever.

Don't get me wrong the net is filled with hyped up product reviews. At the moment I'm looking at Pioneer but nothing is set in stone. Along my journey I've came through a website. It's a lot different from those over-hyped blogs. It seems to be the real deal because the reviews are critical. So much so that it has put me on the fence. Just look at this Pioneer head unit review and you will have questions as well.

At the moment I've shortlisted the pioneer avh-601ex. How bad is the Bluetooth lag? And what about the AppRadio is it DOA?

I'm open for suggestions.
