This should (maybe)? be in FOR SALE, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I'm looking for a complete Gen II intake setup for my truck if anyone has a lead...

    Thanks.

What is a Gen II setup? What parts are you looking for? Do you have pictures of what it should look like?

The Gen II intake has longer (and slightly larger runners) . They "tune-hard" a.k.a
Ram effect between 28 and 4000 and provide a whopping 50 lbs. Ft of torque with the stock heads; more with Strikers.

So I saw this ram air conversion on a 10 for sale on ebay. Does anyone know where it came from or do you think it is a one off.

Bolting it onto the engine is the easy part and yes, a direct bolt on to Gen III engine.

Its fitting my HP injectors, fuel rails, AIR Motor, TPS, throttle, cruise-control and kickdown linkages that are a bit of a challenge.

I don't know if the stuff under the Gen III Intake will even fit under the Gen II Intake.

Getting the air from planet earth into some kind of air cleaner(s) and then into both throttle bodies may be a deal breaker. I'm not interested in under-hood air, so plumbing to the front grille area will be required.

I don't know if anyone has tried it, but I will.

Another 50+ lbs. feet of torque (under the power curve) would be a hoot in a heavy tank/truck.

I really just need an intake at this point to mock it all up to see what fits, what won't, and why.

    Thanks for the info.

I grabbed a set of Striker heads for myself, a set for Old Colt and a set of Striker-R (race heads) for DOM just before production ended.
I was stoked to see that thing run 7s at 180+ mph with very little opportunity to iron out the wrinkles of a new project like his was, I might add.

The Gen IV setup would be the way to go as Option #2, for sure.

A gen II intake is indeed the way to go. Straight from the SRT engineers. Gen III intakes designed for hood clearance on Vipers. I have one waiting for installation on truck #13.

    Cool.
If you are attempting an install, maybe we can swap notes.

I was in regular contact with a fellow in the Chrysler Airflow Research Division (Father Striker) and those conversations were enlightening to say the least. He designed the original Viper heads and the Striker (aftermarket) heads.
