Looks gorgeous, how long have you been working on it? Is the engine completely rebuilt?

Looking good. What brand of shorty headers are you using?

Gibson shorties bolted right up to the stock exhaust, if I remember right.

No Ronnie, just high heat paint. It’s on the to do list. As you can see in the pictures, after 3yrs they’re starting to rust. My plan is to get them ceramic coated by a local headers shop called Sanderson Headers(they’re well known). They quoted me $220 to have them coated.

Ceramic coating is worth every cent in my opinion.
The reduction in underhood heat is incredible.

Have you gone over the engine parts and build in the thread?

There's a certain satisfaction in doing it all properly.
When I pulled my engine and took it all apart, I came up with a plan.
It was shipped away (no local machine shops here, for what I wanted to do).
Once it was returned, everything was rechecked and reassembled.
And, eventually, it was/is exactly the way I wanted it.
    Enjoy YOUR project!!

I sent mine off to Jet Hot to get ceramic coated in graphite gray.
