Power seats adjusters not working

Is anyone having problems with their power seats not adjusting up or down or front to rear yet the motors seem to be running ?

What have you done to fix this ?

I found this about the problem . http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1999/23-28-99.htm But still want more input from someone that has fixed theirs .. my passenger seat is stuck in the up position since I bought the truck ... now my drivers side is acting up ...

My Driver side does the same thing. All I have is fwd and aft. My aft up and down motor acts like it's dead, but my front hums when I use it. Passenger side works as advertised. Also, my recline/incline lever on both sides are frozen. I've only got 71K on my 2005 SRT10 that I bought 2 months ago. Did the link you posted help you? Seems like it would. I'll probably try to fix this issue this weekend.

I haven’t tried it or looked at it again ,, yet ... my passenger seat started when the truck had about 9800 miles on the truck without many passengers riding in it .. the drivers side just started a few months ago ... one of these days I’ll get my butt to work on it ... let us know if you try that fix and if it works ... all the motors on mine seem to make noise ..
I’ll have to check the recline ,, never used them .
 
seams like nobody is encountering this problem. My drivers seat is grinding without movement. Anybody???

Yes.... I have the same problem! Could this be a factory defect??? Like the Crappy T56 transmission...I just replaced it with a New T56 magnum 6/speed and New Spec duel clutch. Now she shifts like a Porsche.
 
It's usually due to the cheap plastic gears the Dodge used on the motors. Its a very common problem but Dodge's fix is to replace the entire assembly. If you search around on the regular Ram forums, they talk about it all the time. There is a metal gear set you can buy that will fix the problem.
