Hi guys,

Having issue with clutch fade after a pull at WOT for a while, tried flushing to high temp brake fluid and notice clutch line runs kind of close to Cats, but problem persists.

Due to the Covid pain in the ass I don't have a lot of money or resources at my disposal being based in Dubai.

Was thinking of making a heat shield for the line but would like someone to explain WHY it happens, before I make one, as changing to high temp fluid didn't really help that much so would like someone confirm it is heat based before just throwing money at getting the Viper Upgrade.

*I used the search function and got the same issue but no answer*

Thank you all in advance!

Stay safe

If you are talking about the clutch pedal getting soft, you will need to repair/upgrade your clutch hydraulics.

Or is it begininng to slip afterwards? Almost sounds like the clutch is starting to go and cant hold the power.

Hey thanks for the replies.

Clutch isn't slipping, only after being at high rpm for some time I press the clutch to shift up and it feels squidgy < not a technical term I know... I can still shift but engagement point feels like it moves much closer to the floor.

If I shift to neutral and pump the clutch a few times it feels fine again.

I hope this helped to understand.

Again, thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

You will need to rebuild the clutch hydraulics either back to stock or (suggested) - with one of the available aftermarket kits.

Thanks buddy. Any idea what causes the issue?

Mine does exactly the same thing and it is like the thrust bearing being pushed away from the pressure plate fingers giving you a half pedal. if I rest foot on clutch pedal lightly it stops the fluid being pushed back to master cylinder then it works fine
I am going under the truck today to see what is going on. Maybe pressure plate fingers at uneven height, may need replacing. That's what it was 40 years ago when I was a young mechanic. Things have changed since then. I will be investigating this problem
