After purchasing the wing relocation kit from a fellow member about 2yrs ago, I plan on installing the kit later this week. From what I gathered, not all the trucks got this kit. And those the got it, were either thrown out or forgotten about. Some have paid big money(around $300) for them, luckily I was able to get it for cheaper ($60). Below is the picture of my kit, really nice and comes with everything. 1 bag, 1 nut screw driver, 2 brackets, 4 bracket screws, and 3 pages of instructions( how to mount the wing by the tail gate, how to remove the wing from the tail gate, how to mount the wing by the rear window, and how to remove the wing by the rear window). Let me know if you guys want pictures of the instructions. Below are some pictures.

I’ve had the kit for a long time, but never had the instructions. It’s pretty straight forward, just turn the wing around when using the kit. Would like to see the instructions.

Where do those brackets mount? I just bought a box spoiler a few weeks ago, and it came with two studs, and two screws. Bad thing is, the bed is not the original, so the body shop has to locate and drill the holes.

Bill, this bracket is just for relocating the spoiler next to the cab, when you want to carry items in the bed/box. in those situations when the spoiler will interfere with the load. That is the only use for the brackets.

I apologize for the wait, been a little busy with work and the family. But I’ll post the instructions by this week. Correct. The relocation kit is only when you need to move the wing out of the way to use the tailgate and don’t have nowhere to put the wing. So you put the brackets and put the wing closer to the cab. I ran into a little issue. I heard(don’t quote me on this), but some trucks don’t have the 2 holes(closer to the cab) for the brackets. And the holes should have 2 plasctic rivets/nuts behind the holes to screw in the bracket bolts. My truck has both holes but no plastic rivets/nuts. Which isn’t a big deal, I’ll be going to Lowe’s to get some washers and nuts. Below is the picture of the 2 holes on the side of the rail, which should have the plastic rivets/nuts.

The wing mounted on the tailgate should have 2 mounting holes on the rail closer to the tailgate. To relocate the wing, there should be 2 mounting holes closer to the cab on the side of the rail. Let me know if you need any measurements.

Excellent, yes I need the exact dimensions to the center of each the four holes back at the tailgate. Can you post a few close up pics of them as well? I do appreciate the help! Don't really care about the forward end of the box, if I haul something, I'll just put the spoiler in the garage.

Sounds good, I’ll take pictures with a tape measure so you get an idea of where the holes go.

This is awesome. Forward to aft and side to side for each rail should do the trick. I really appreciate this very much. I'm supposed to have the spoiler mounted this coming Tuesday.

Below are the pictures and measurements. I remove the Wing bolt to take better measurements, I had to remove the rear tail light but not a problem.

This is how the wing looks mounted on the rear, by the tail gate.

And this is how the wing looks once it’s removed from the rear, by the tail gate. The only thing on the rail should be the 2 rear wing bolts, 1 on each side. To remove those bolts you would have to remove both rear tail lights, by removing 4 T25 bolts(2 on each side) and 2 electrical connections(1 on each side).

Hopefully all the instructions and measurements help you guys out? I should be able to go get the washer/ bolts tomorrow, to mount the relocation kit later this week and see how it looks.
