    Haha!
I think they are actually made out of plywood with an Aluminum/Magnesium veneer.

Candy apple red covers with white headers should look very sharp.
Optional blue intake for a patriotic theme (?).

I was originally thinking of going with Classic Polish look, but now that you mention it, White might look better. Problem is, Jet Hot only has two flavors of white.

I think you mentioned about the white headers in your post a week or so ago. ;)

Regardless of what colors or shine you are shown, coatings often change with heat anyway, in spite of what you may be told.

My shiny silver ceramic header coating is now a very flat silver coating after several hot and cold cycles. As a heat barrier, nothing has changed in that regard, which is most important to me.

That off-white color in your post may turn to a VERY off-white color after a while, I can't really say.

The only way to stop discolouration is to not start it up.
Mine are silver, still look good, but who knows what colour they started off as lol not so sure about black hahaha

I think black ones turn bright green but I can't confirm.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same. I may have mentioned white a while back, but I've drank Wild Turkey 101 since then :)

On a serious note, I thought Stainless steel work hardens and cracks.
    Is this an issue?

    Stainless steel work??

Nitromethane is now 40 bucks US a liter if you feel you are paying too much for premium. (This may or may not ease your pain).

The headers are 304 stainless, but what you're looking at is a polish ceramic coating, not the actual metal. I wouldn't think it would crack over time.

No, the jet hot style coatings are thin but don't crack and fall off.
I'm not sure how something that thin provides a heat barrier, but it does.

I have jet hot and my headers still look good and it helps keep the heat down.
