Anyone have any tips on how to set up the Homelink with my garage door?

    I tried both methods:

-using the garage opener near the Homelink to program it
-using the learning button on the garage opener itself to program the Homelink

I could not get either method to successfully program the Homelink. I tried many methods of which buttons to press and for how long, and I also tried with the truck both on and while running. No dice.

Anyone have the specs on how they were able to do it successfully???

Not trying to be a SA, but try youtube, or just google it. I've gleaned some good info that way myself.

ha! No worries! I tried every single rec on the dodge forums, and every single one I saw on YouTube, including other gen rams. None of them worked and I even tried mixing their recommendations. It’s clearly not a one size fits all situation depending on whether your unit has rolling codes.

hopefully someone on here has been successful with their SRT10 and has a path forward.

I had mine working, I simply followed the instructions. it was 12 year ago.... push learn button on garage door opener and then within 10 sec. hold the push button and the homelink button at the same time.

I just did mine last month: hold down the two outside buttons until quick blinking lights to clear out all of the memories. Grab a hand held remote fob for your garage door and hold it within inches of the srt overhead button you want to program. Press and hold down the button you want to program and also press and continue to hold down the garage door opener button until the overhead console button light blinks quickly. Assuming your garage door opener has rolling security, you have to press the Learn button on the motor head, get back to the srt (which should be in front of the garage door, and hold the button you just programmed for a few seconds at a time until the garage door closes.

LOL, I wish you the best. If I had a garage, I'd give it a go myself. When you figure it out, let us know what you had to do.

The instruction manual for my garage door opener indicates the manufacturer will supply a module for the older vehicles with Homelink. New model openers not compatible. I've been too lazy to request one.
