Can't Decide!!!! Auto or Manual Transmission!??!?!?!?

Hey 6Speed, what all did you have to do to convert? Obviously you had to buy the pedal cluster and tranny, but did you have to get your driveshaft extended? What about wire harness, computer etc? I'm assuming it was about a 15K project?
If had a GOOD auto I would be happy with that. Much more cruizy
 
There are still those that prefer a stick but I'm not one of them.

I don't know that there is A GOOD shifter for our trucks that are reliable for years, accurate and don't "buzz" on the highway.

Ya, give me a well-built Automatic any day.

You can't take a gearbox with a 4" shifter, put it in a truck, put a 2 foot shifter on it then wonder why it doesn't work.
The leverage is all wrong for the detent springs
No different to a big truck, you can't cut 3 feet off the gear lever of your Road Ranger and expect it to work out

I've had several vehicles with a stick. It's more nostalgia than anything I guess. My 1975 Trans Am had a factory 4 speed, and it was a beast.
