I just finished a job for a Gentelman that had that same feeling when he saved $150 on that gereric pto clutch.

That feeling was quickly trumped when the local dealer called him and said he needed a new crankshaft. The top bearing seizes up on about half of thoes awesome clutches. Others have experienced zero issues..

Im all for saving money. I try and steer clear of dealership parts. I was also just trying to save you the headache. For some reason maybe you thought i was trying to say deere parts are gold or something?

I've got a couple hundred hours on it since then. I wonder what causes the issue really with the generics some of the time. Maybe the company I got mine from actually knows what they're doing.

Who knows, it could be the people installing them. The biggest thing ive found is they just are a pita to remove. I would always look at the brand/type as soon as i was fighting one. Either the clutch would pull away from the bearing leaving just IT on the crank. Or the bearing would come apart and leave the race on the crank. If they come off easy then you get nervous. Thats when you see the top bearing spun on the crank snout... Just dosent happen with an oem Warner or Ogura.

The extreme is the better of the 2-3 ive seen. I cant member the names off hand as i dont work on mowers much anymore.

Doing great. Layla's practically tried to take ownership of the truck already.

A hellcat style ram srt would be a fun whip, with a manual or even those paddle shifters. But as mentioned, an NA V10 manual truck is rarity, not just all about the performance numbers

    The power has shifted.....

I will not be surprised if they shoehorn this drive-train into a street version of the 1500. #'s on this off road version look like fun!

    Cheers!!

And it still can manage a 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and a 1/4 mile in 12.9 @ 108.... Nice engine and launch control!

Quicker than a stock RC. ;)

Yes, another couple of hundred horsepower over a stock SRT-10 and an 8 speed transmission helps overcome some of that weight.

    A fun vehicle for sure!

Must have some short gearing to limit top speed like that (a smart move as typically tall vehicles and high speeds don't like each other).
That also helps with 0-60 sprints and 1/4 mile times.
    All in the science.. :)

Even though my paint is faded and sunbleached on the roof and tops of front fenders, I get plenty of looks. A lot of confused looks, because they are not sure what they are looking at. But once they realize, they start asking all kinds of questions.

These trucks will stay as bad as you want them to be. When your attention drifts to something else then that will be badass
It is all about perception...not deception. My truck is bad...I don't care how slow it becomes in the motoring world...I will still be bad in my truck and I will drive it bad.
It will always beat a Prius and burn lots of fuel. Who's bad!

    6 speed....and 4.56 dana....srt 8 ram...
that would be a fun truck..

I did 0 to 60 4.9 in my regular cab viper ram....it does take time to get the hang of shifting...
I might buy a four door tomorrow its red the fastest color....

Ram TRX's truly astonishing acceleration—shooting to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds at 110 mph—

This is impressive to say the least for a 6866 lb. Truck
