hood question

I believe they are mainly for aerodynamics. Too much turbulent airflow through that grill is not good. Also, the stock airbox get all its air from the fenderwell. Much cooler than underhood air.

Yep, I took the after market K&N off about a month ago, and installed the factory set up, with a drop cone K&N filter. Seems to have a tad more response now.

Welcome the RBC and yes they are 2 of em one on the drivers side and another on the passenger side. Mine had cracked had them replaced from X2 builders.

05 and 06 part #'s are the same.
