One of our crew showed up in this yesterday.
    They are a nice truck!

Its that flat/shiny black colour (I don't know what its called).

He wants to race me when the weather gets better but I advised him against trying that. ;)

    $120,000 up here in Kanada.

21L/100 km but it should get better in time as it has less than 1000 miles on it.

TRX 0-60 4.1 sec, 12.7 1/4 mile, it's not a slouch by any means. Of course you have the devil under your hoodl:rolleyes:

Yes, I watched him take off on a dry highway and they are a quick vehicle for sure.
The TRX is faster than several performance cars and the ultra-performance sport utes' like the new Porsche.

I saw one on Sunday. They are too Tonka Truck looking for me. Plus, I told myself I wouldn't buy one unless they could outrun my Duramax.

I think maybe the RAM CEO has a son-in-law in the hose business.. ;)

C'mon guys, that's the best you can do for the new TRX?!?

The Gen III in the "old" RAM SRT-10 by comparison is a masterpiece.

Tested #s: Ram TRX's truly astonishing acceleration—shooting to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds at 110 mph—

    With a warranty ;)

At 7000 lbs, it has the same power to ratio as a single cab. Apples and oranges with four wheel drive and automatic. Put the trucks on a road course or top speed and there would be no and I mean no competition.

Yes, the TRX IS heavy. That is what makes it so impressive in acceleration. My point is, if they happen to install this drive-line into a RC with a four link rear suspension, correct spring rates and the right brakes?!? Add the advancements they have utilized in modern aero along with the great airbox / cold air feed?? A new monster will be born.

I mean really, how many SRT-10 owners have "modified" their trucks to gain a 1/2 second in the quarter mile? Now they run it at 12.8 seconds. The TRX still has a 1/2 second on em' with close to an extra TON on board. ;)

The only thing that would screw that up is FIAT.

Cave man, it would absolutely destroy your Duramax. Between, how's Grand junction?

I read an article last week of this Bozo who flew the 100k TRX in the air and destroyed his front end and cracked the rear windshield, broke the tail gate. He has a raptor too which he flew in the air jumping some earth mound. you cannot fix stupid I say lol!!!!

Yes a bit more to it than just weight and just power, for sure.
If Trainman and I swapped engines, it could be interesting.
    He is 4200 pounds (I believe), I'm 5600 pounds
He runs low 11s in the low 120s, I run high 11s at 116.
When you do the math the engines need THE SAME HORSEPOWER to do what they do in each truck.
But one is an auto, the other a manual 6 speed, one is stock ride height one isn't. It depends too where the engines make their power. Is it all up top?
Would one engine suffer more behind an automatic than the other? (recovery between gear changes) due to torque production (or lack of it)

A number of factors for sure!

    All in the science.
