Which badges would you install on a newly painted hood?

So I got these badges from a buddy, and he had tried his hand at painting them red since he also has a Black/Red themed truck and like me he didnt like how the large silver VIPER on the top part of the badge looked.

Curious which badges you guys would go with on a black truck? The stock viper powered badges or these modified badges. The red badges are supposed to make it look like a cool "ripped" or "ripple" effect on the badges, and none of the red overspray would go on the hood, so you can ignore the overspray on the edges of the V I P E R letters.

What do you guys think....I'm leaning towards the Red ones since my truck has a black and red theme???

Would like to see, but for some reason I don't have permission to look at them.

That is odd, let me try posting it this way:

Did that too. Says I don't have permission. Oh well. Everyone says Red, so I guess it's good to go.
Everyone but me :(:( But it's ok I like being different!!! :p

Actually, on second look, the Red does look nice on the black!

I hope that doesn't sound racist?? If so, it's all about the SRT hahaha

I saw the close up of how the badges look on a Silver hood and I felt so bad for them. I would have ripped those badges off so quick if I had a silver truck with a silver badge

But I think that is why I like the red version since I don't like how the silver badge looks on my black hood, especially with a nice black and red "Powered" right underneath it.

Anyone have a set of oem badges? I have some bad chips on my hood and would like to replace my set with a nos set after they paint.

I am interested. Do you have them OEM looking with Viper in silver? Cost?

Clarification

{Who needs stickers}, when you can just paint it on. If he is paining his hood, why not paint on the "Viper Powered" like I did

I’m trying to keep the truck original looking, if I can’t get the oem badges then I’m just going to have the shop fill in the chips and leave it. That does look good though and is an option.
