Hey- Did you get your Monster Catch-Can dialed in yet? That "stuff" they collect is foul. I'm not sure how I'm going to keep the shaft of my Throttle-Body lubricated now that it isn't soaked with oil anymore.
$71.50 for one person and truck to catch the ferry over to Vancouver Island. ($143 total with my son and his SUV two spots back in line). I remember when my dad would bitch when I was a kid about is costing $20 for a vehicle and a family of four!
Count on losing 3.5% for every 1000 foot increase in altitude. 3.5% x 5500 feet = a 19.25 % loss So with your SRT-10 you are down nearly 130 flywheel horsepower with a 5500 foot D.A. in Calgary:banghead: OR Drive to sea-level like you did and GAIN 130 horsepower! :burnout: :rock::rock:
Just the little bath-tubs in the upper (block) main saddles, coated the Gen IV bearings, rounded off some oil passages and went to a (1) piece shuttle for the relief. Oh, and 0-30 to reduce oil pressure a bit. Crank was hardened & polished and with the new main caps, trued (align-bored) on all axis. NO pressure wavering using a LARGE mechanical oil pressure dial-gauge during 6500+ runs. So...No, there was no side rod clearance increase/decrease nor oil-hole mods to the crank. I left the OEM crank-scraper in place. Thousands of miles and still going strong... .
Well, I don't know about my truck transporting money, but it has cost me quite a bit to get it to where it is now.
