Well I finally found my problem. When I bought my engine about 4 years ago, I put plugs in all to openings so that nothing would get inside. Well this bad boy was in the lower water pump inlet, completely blocking it off. It was kind of tucked in pretty good, so I didn't see it when I installed the lower hose. I'm extremely happy that it was not something worse....Thanks for all the help.... 20210125_170319.jpg

That would cause a "problem" with flow for sure. :)

This is most excellent news. I guess the cap did what it was supposed to do, stop anything from getting in... So when you going to make a video with you cruising around town, turning all those heads?

Crazy and all the issue you had were from this little plastic part. Awesome you found it.

Fantastic thread and awesome build! One of my favorite trucks is this year! My Dad had a 1970 when I was growing up. Not nearly as cool as this one! Amazing diligence and detail in the work. Job well done. I hope you still have it.:cool::cool:

OMG!!! I've just been through this entire build on ProTouring forum.

I will say I've never been so impressed. The skill and expertise are impeccable. I had no idea you put this much into this project

I saw at the end it was featured in April 2022 Classic Truck Performance magazine. Fantastic. You are a master craftsman Sir.

I'm still in awe that one human has this much skill. So very rare - congrats

People. You're missing out if you don't look through the build on ProTouring!
