Buy? Yes? No?

Hey guys (and gals!) I'm fresh out of a 2012 Hemi RAM and looking into quad-cab SRT's. I've found a 2005 with 95,000 miles at a good price. My question is, provided maintenance was upkept, would you guys be scared of a truck with those kind of miles? I know for a lot of engines, 95k is no biggie, but I know nothing of the Viper. Any input is valued and appreciated!

100+ miles is not a problem. I think there's some with over 200+ still running strong.

I have an 05 with 106k on it. It is equipped with Roe supercharger, belanger headers, tune, 3in magnaflows ++. It runs and drives like a beast. I run 15-50 Mobil 1 and it runs like new. If the price is right drive the crap out it!

You may not like the gas mileage. 9 around town. 7 if you're driving it. 26 gallon tank. Premium only. And the QC is a 4 speed. But it can be set up right where it will boogie.

I think I did - has 91,xxx miles and no obvious signs of being hit. Dude wanted $24k, but I was able to karate chop him down to $19k.

You got a good deal for sure! I paid 12.5K for mine, with 70K miles. Unfortunately it was dogged pretty hard from previous owners, and have since replaced all suspension, front end etc. Luckily the engine is sound.

Great hunting and find on the 10. Make sure you know about X2 builders for parts sourcing and cleveland Pick Apart for hard to find used parts.

Good to have some more new blood on the form. If any of you need or want OEM RAM SRT-10 wheels, OEM bed cover with spoiler, and OEM spoilers, OEM brakes, a set of new Mopar headers and mid pipes, Valve covers, OEM manifold, Complete OEM Exhaust systems (from motor to tail pipe), 1 set of OEM seats (2004 & 2005) regular cab and other OEM RAM SRT-10 parts. Check with me 1st.

When you say Mopar headers, how different are they from stock?

Guys, I still have two manifolds, one with fuel runner and one with throttle body, two complete bed covers with all the hardware. If any one is interested in OEM exhaust systems I have several system that start at the Mid Pipes with cats to the tail pipe (all with less than 2k miles on them). I still have RAM SRT-10 OEM wheels. I can then send you pictures. I don't have as many items as X2 or Cleveland Power & Performance, but I am pushing it.
