After listening to my ride sound like some 5.7 Hemi with a sore throat...and believe me I can't have that...I decided I better take Big Boy in for a check up at my local muffler shop. After a visual look over and some discussion with their mechanic and shop owner..it was decide that some moderate upgrades were past due. So that weekend I contacted Flowmaster and they recommended the 50 Series HD muffler with dual outlets..plus I needed some partial replaced of rusty pipes.

Sure I could of gone with a deleted muffler and ran straight pipes or even a Super 10 but my neighbors would of stormed the house carrying torches. So after a long Saturday and about $1K later I had that sound once again when I first bought the truck back in 2011.

I would also like to hear this. As far as I know Flowmaster sound doesn't work with our trucks sound. When I bought my truck it was used it came with the super 10s it sounded somewhat nice on idle but from other people would tell me it sounded like a v6 or a diesel like mixed with a v8. It wasn't a unique viper sound that is recognizable.

Before you pull the trigger on the Flowmaster, check out Wicked Flow, Kamikazi muffler. This is what I'm going with, once I'm able to get my tranny rebuilt first.

What do you have on yours?
Custom exhaust. Duals right to the tail. Look like flowmasters and the hot dogs on end. I also have cut outs after 1st muffler when some extra is needed. Fraction of the price of an off the shelf set up. With exchange rates, freight and tax it's fraction of the price to have exhaust built at your local muffler shop. Then of corse there is the dual duals. It's really a one of a kind.

Awesome!!!!

slowly getting better. Takes about a year. Roughly about as long as it takes for Tony from JTS to tell me when I can get my under drive pulley
Good to hear about the knees, and LMFAO about Tony!!!!!!! It only took me a week to get my pulley delivered. Then again I'm not a million miles away either...
