NEW KNEES

Oh yeah knees....I do a lot of painful exercises and knee bend stretching. Ex bike and walking etc everyday.
30min bike 5 laps up and down the stairs, squats lunges, 2 mile walk and anything else I can fit in. That keeps my knees sore and swollen but have to push to regain lost muscle and knee bend angle. The wound repair after the operation stole my thigh muscles and now they are skinny and weak. It is a long game....maybe 12 months

Have a 4th of July American Car show in Timaru so the beast will get a wash and more polish for that.
I will take some pics.

South Canterbury USA Classic Car Club 4th July Show and cruise. I will put some pics up next week

Kiwi I hope your rehab is progressing along...broke my right ankle/lower leg last year..which healed but tore a meniscus in my left knee same time...which hasn't healed...looking at a knee replacement myself down the road...shifting at times can be difficult some days...good luck on your recovery.

I should know this but I’m getting old and have occasional CRS- are you the Kiwi who had a yellow fever shipped over to new zealand many years ago and had right hand drive installed? To many kiwis for me to remember lol lol - May have had shipping damage in the sea container.
And ditto on your rehab progress!

Thanks mate, it is a long road. I get around pretty well now but can't squat or kneel. I can drive my truck but the park brake is a stretch still.

Who needs brakes anyways! lol
You’ll be all healed in no time!!

And do your friends grow Manuka honey or what kind is that?

@Kiwi SRT10

How are your knees now that three years have almost come and gone??
Knees are great, very stable now. They used to give out sideways and made me fall against things. Used to take some bark off here and there.
Have a friend in the top of North Island who have hives and get a very nice bush blend honey. Lots of Manuka in that.
Knees birthday 19th April
