I can't sleep, I lost my Dad on Wednesday - he was my first true love. I'm so so sadHe made it to 87 and it came as such a shock! Passed peacefully in his sleep. I only hope I'm so lucky

Sorry about your Dad. I have lost both my parents this year so far. Last year wasn't any good either with my sister and uncle passing away as well. So in 18 months we lost 5 of my immediate family. Life is pretty quiet nowdays. There are not many of us left.

We just have to remember that no one lives forever and inevitably we all die. With parents in mid 80's it was just a matter of when. Like you say we have to move on, keep going. Yep, my Dad made it to just shy of 87 and mom is 84 - both happy healthy wealthy and wise! Wealthy with lots of love and that counts more than all the money on earth

LOL! Nothing better than a sandwich of toasted bread with two slices of fried Spam, slice of cheese melted on it, and a slice of tomato. Love that stuff.
I like spam too! Just like you described it. My grandmothers both did the spam thing. I haven’t tried the new fandangled flavors but original is good!
