I have finished with the kid thing and no dogs (which would never be allowed in the truck) I do have a wife who is not that keen being in the truck when the foot goes down. With gas at $2.73 a liter/litre $10.31 a gal it stays in the garage. I am using half a tank a month if that. Some months it doesn't get used at all.

Kiwi get a station wagon for our 4 legged friends The 10 is seriously built to go fast so no man's best friend in the truck lest he jumps out now you gotta PETA or whatever you guys have down there breathing down hard on your rear end lol!!!

Also, the ability to carry a couple extra passenegers, plus tow a little is nice. And, for the final reason, they're USUALLY cheaper. I scored mine for $19k with 91k miles. Similiar regular cabs were about $24-26k.

Modern Barbarian, welcome to the RBC. There is a quad cab NR on ebay with 30k plus miles you can wheel and deal on it. It is in great shape.

Daily runner is BMW X3 2l diesel. It can do everything we need and cheap to run. I got my Gun City sticker on the rear, no body will mess with us hahaha

Got my first ticket since 1990 this past Friday, and it wasn't for speeding. Seems when I turned my heads and fogs on, I forgot to change the halos to a solid purple. Was at stop light, saw a cop on side road looking at me. I looked at my Oracle app on the phone, the lights were set on oscillating mode. Needless to say she gave me a ticket. My own dumb fault for making sure the colors weren't solid. Turns out, in the state of Georgia, I can't run with any color except white. I've had them since July, and have been all over the place with colors except Blue and Red. Must be her pet peeve with the colored halos. Oh well, it happens, LOL.
 
Thanks guys. I use seat covers when. I haul the dogs, special ones made for dogs. They are a part of the family and go everywhere with us. Thats part of owning a truck for the family.

This thing is my daily, damn the gas mileage. Lol.

Nice to hear your liking your viper truck! I have an 05 QC and its a driver. I love to see the dissapointment in the face of those I've just blown away in the rear view! Ha ha ha! That will teach them!
 
When I first got my Queen I drove her out to meet my folks who lived in Nevada - on my way home i was so paranoid of getting a ticket I had my cruise control set right at speed limit. I went by a patrol car and thought nothing of it. Cruise control on - check. Not speeding - check. Good to go. Then i noticed he sped up and Up ahead of me I saw him pull over to the shoulder. Uhhh ohhhh???? So I continue on and then he got back onto the freeway and was making his way thru traffic rapidly approaching me. He got up next to me and stayed there. Now I’m freaking out inside wondering what the heck?! I would not look at him for awhile but he stayed there! Finally I looked over at him and he flashed me with a big old smile and a huge thumbs up! He hit the gas and he was gone! Be was checking out the Queen! Lol lol

I would have shown him what she had to offer but I’ve always been nervous about being pulled over on a freeway!

I’ll never forget that cop. Best one I never met :cool::D:cool:
