Hi all, mad as it gets
Moved out to countryside and annoyed already.
Put the truck away a week ago and it was fine

Looked at engine this morning and mouse droppings on cam covers

Hardly ticks over, smells very rich, headlights not working , sounds awful

Can't see any obvious wires chewed
Anything obvious you think it may be?

The little buggers love to chew on wires.

Each of your issues IS electrical.

Look around under the Intake Manifold/Blower for signs of a nest.

It may take some time to find the damaged wiring.

Also check your intake box, they like to nest there and the nest can restrict airflow causing a rich condition

This happened a few years ago,dog biscuits behind the firewall insulation and under the intake manifold, there were so many biscuits the little fuggers never had time to start chomping on any wiring.I leave baited traps in the garage during the winter now

WOW! They sure can make a mess. Hopefully you can get the wiring fixed and get her back on the road.

Sorry about your luck! Man Alive that suks!

You gotta get on that shyt before they eat the whole truck. I would check your wheel speed sensor lines in front, also look at your wiring going into the PCM all 3 bundles. And if it's an 06 might as well look at that bloody TIPM.

Hi all
Thanks for the advice and suggestions

Looking like they have chewed some of the spark plug leads, no other obvious damage

Suppose it explains the missfire and why it's dumping fuel in the exhaust

I had activity right at the neck behind the blower, it's perfect in top of the coils for them

Bad news is I am going to have to remove the blower now and intake to swap over the leads

Looking at it though it does not look like removing the blower should be that bad

Is there a how to guide it any advice that may help me with that. It's the Whipple that roe supply.

Thanks again

I dont know about the blower, but for the intake, if it's the stock one, a 12" swivel extension is your friend. You can go through the runner's for most of the bottom bolts. Other wise it's an eighth turn at a time with a wrench.

Thanks

I am trying to get hold of jtsvp through their website, however, it's not letting me
Want some prices on parts
If you are about please can you message me and I will give you my email
