Becoming a supporting member

I was looking at becoming a supporting member so i can get access to the DIY section, but the button on it won't work. Also want to make sure that getting access to the DIY section does still work after becoming a supporting member.

I can see the diy section now. I also checked just to see and it doesn't fix the sale section thing. How do I get it setup to be permanent?
