Hi Shggy,

I still can't post items for sale in the for sale area. This has been going on since the upgrades were made. I tried today and this was the message I got:

(You have insufficient privileges to reply here.)

You said that you were going to correct this issue. Please fix it.

So we only have one person that can fix permissions on this forum? Is that not a power that can be given to the other mods?
 
I have that power on other forums, just not this one. So yes it can be done, I’ve asked and ……. Denied.


The reason for my previous comment is I’ve made multiple posts telling people to post their items for sale in the general discussion forum for months. Yet everyone insists on putting it where they can’t

Oh, and I thought I did you a favor for the upgrade and you continue to complain, maybe I made a mistake
 
Hey, I didn't make this thread. I was just asking because I don't moderate forums and don't know how it works. I like it here and want to see this place thrive.

And I get that we can post things for sale in another section. I know that is the work around. But it is a work around, and not fixing the issue. I don't consider it complaining to bring a known issue with the forum to the attention of the moderators. I was polite and not rude about it in any way. Not sure where your hostility is coming from with this, but its not me your upset yet. I didn't do whatever has you rile up today.
 
Riled up, oh hell no, you would know if that’s happening. Annoyed, more accurate.

I’m annoyed because I can’t fix the items that are broke

annoyed because the last 7-10 days have been a constant stream of spammers

annoyed because the world has went insane

annoyed because it’s cold

Annoyed because my coffee cup is empty

annoyed because this is the last place that ever gets attention


I’ll be riled up some other day

Glad you aren't pissed. Conveying emotions through text is hard.
 
It's -20C with 3 feet of snow which sometimes affords me an opportunity to go indoors and listen to 2.1 Channel Stereo and/or build neat Stereo Equipment for others.

I never in my life thought I would see the government getting away with the shit they are getting away with now. These yahoos are fucking it up so bad that my local grocery store is having to ration meat. It's just ridiculous.

Incase your still having this problem - there is another thread created in general discussion for us who can't access that forum. Not sure why some of us can't access the buy/sell area
 
@Sigma-Wildcat there was an update on the forum so You may be able to access the Classifieds now. If not maybe @Shaggy can look into it for you :)
