Something isn't making sense about 770 horsepower and the high 12s at 110 mph performance numbers for a 5750 lb. race weight.

113 MPH traps would be more like it.

It seems to be about 70 horsepower shy.

Hmmmm...

It's not your fault and as mentioned before, you are forced to live upside-down compared to North-Americans and it can make you think/say funny things. ;)

How is your truck coming along??

After 17 years I had to replace my Hood Struts.
That's all I have done to mine so far this year.

Pretty exciting stuff, I know.

Those little 5.0L really crank!!

I'm not Ford bashing but when I watch or hear about their Shelby Trucks racing a TRX, it shouldn't be as close a race as it is. Just sayin'...

On a side note, the TRX does SO many things very well and the F-150 Shelby was designed more single-purpose than the Mopar.

Did you ever finish your intake from last year?

As there is a worldwide shortage of aluminum (???), I wasn't able to have Wilson build me an Intake.
I sourced a semi-local guy and it is still an ongoing project/adventure.
I haven't had much spare time for the truck but the Intake is the last piece of the naturally-aspirated puzzle and I've found patience I never knew I had.

I thought Wilson was a basketball....my bad.

Truck is slow at the moment. Some parts have arrived and so maybe next week it will get a kick along. Fibreglass deck lid is off sanded back so all those annoying little gas bubbles are gone from the resin. There were some tired parts of paintwork so I said do it all properly. It is too good to patch. Then it will be off to get some Plum Purple asshole stripes (as we call them). He has a computer set up the truck goes in, so if the color looks shite we can try others until we like it. Then make them. Maybe end of June. 6 months punishment. Serves me right. Never done anything like that in 45 years.

Ronnie are you referencing the Ford F150 Shelby Baja Edition. One pulled up nest to me I mean its a serious beast with 2 spares tied down in the bed. Fella told me dropped over 130k plus. I guess you pay more to go fast.

A.F.A.I.K. it is simply called Shelby F-150 (no off-roading equipment).

They come with either a N.A. 5L or a supercharged 5L version at 400 HP and 770 HP respectively.

For $130k I will personally deliver mine. Just think how special that would be, a right hand drive beast with dual duals.:D:D:D

A buddy up here in Kanada bought a Tesla Plaid. My first thought was...why?
When he told me he paid $190,000 for it I had other thoughts.
Yours for $130,000 (with dual duals) is a great deal. :)

Ronnie this one was in baby blue color and all decked out with 2 spares with all the of road Baja stuff and had that 770 hp motor in it.
