Has anyone had a FOB programmed, new or used? The FOB to the truck is about to die, I have to hold the unlock button and hold it up to the door for 10+ seconds before it works.

I bought both my truck and viper with only one OEM key and FOB each. I’d like to cut an additional key and program back FOB for both. Looking for a cost idea and of course lessons learned from those who have done it.

I started having issues with the Panic horn going off. Changed the little battery last week, and so far so good. OEM Fob.

Get an OEM one, if you know anyone with a DRBIII (or emulator software) then it's easy peasy.

Damn, well if you happen to fix that please let me know. It’s not a rush job, more of a convenience for the truck and viper.

Where you at in MD? I’m in southern MD.

I had mine cut and programmed by a local locksmith. I think it was $35-40. Of course free is better.

You are saying that the local lock smith can reprogram our 10 keys and they have the software to do it. My dealer wanted 75 bucks to do it.

That's because even the simplest tasks get a minimum 1 hour labor charge.
