I haven't posted in awhile but having problem finding a upper radiator hose for my '05...damn thing blew a hole just as I got to work last week. ..sprayed anti-freeze like old faithful on the engine and inside the hood...wonderful. Right away called my friendly dealership...sorry sir but that OEM part (05290804AB) has been discontinued since 2017...more wonderful news.

So called Advance Auto parts...sure we have one...be here next day. Ok I said...next day matched it up to the old one...no dice...returned. Found one on ebay and gave them my vin number to be sure...took four days later but again no dice...diameter too small and the bend is wrong. The Viper store is out of stock but I see JMB has the hard pipe for $105-115...never figured it would be this hard to find a simple hose.

I went with an aftermarket hose, but can't remember the name. Will look it up and get back to you. If you think finding a hose is bad, good luck trying to find a power steering pump cap. Took me two months.

Cool! How do you like them?
I will have a combination. I bought the heater hoses in black from HPS and will have the hard pipes put on from JMB this spring.

I like them. Only downside is the radiator top hose collapses when the engine cools down. But it doesn't hinder flow when the engine is running, they expand back up. Just make sure you don't get any petroleum products on them, and if you do, make sure to clean it off.

Change your radiator cap if the hoses suck in. Mine did because it didn't have a two way cap that allows the coolant from the catch bottle to be drawn back in as it cools down

Good idea Kiwi, I think it's been a year since I've replaced it. Do you happen to have a P/N for the two way cap?
