Damn! I was in hopes that someone had started a bicycle thread...anyone interested besides me? If so start a thread...

I only think in terms of busa...for speed...harley strokers with a hard-tail for image...and vespas for sweet fellows like Mikey.

It depends on what you want to do with it. I have an R1 & a Busa needless to say the R1 dosent get much road time anymore. I think i would go with the 14 get in the wind see some country & still haul ass.

Gixxer. Very light and nimble. I have a CBR though and I love it.

I was originally looking at the Harleys and Victory's but they are just too expensive.

I think the ZX-14 is good compromise but am leaning more to the aggressive styling of 1000cc bikes. Also the ZX-14 would go with fastest production theme.

    :D :D :D :D :D :D

I almost signed up on a Road King Custom with the screaming Eagle package(1700cc) but the price was a bit to much to swallow. $28,385 total including the extended warranty and lifetime maintenance.

The very first question should be how much riding experience do you have. Those Bikes you named can kill you in an instant, so they should not be a "First" motorcycle.

That being said, if I was going to buy a new bike I would wait until the 2008s are out because the CBR1000RR, and the ZX-10R are going to be highly improved.

However I ride the R1, and I am very happy with it.

If what Honda is saying becomes reality, the 2008 CBR1000RR is supposed to smoke all the others. Now like I said IF its true.

Honda has some of the best products on the marker IMO. But they never really have had the fastest though. You always got your hardcore honda fans that won't drive nothing but one. I personally always go for the fastest:D

I had a 2005 Gixxer 1000 that i traded in on my SRT. It was one hell of a bike. Before that i had a CBR 900RR and a 2003 Yamaha R1 and the Gixxer was by far my favorite. Damn thing did 96 MPH in 1st gear! And it was also the most comfy, handled the best, and was the lightest of the 3.

Although... A buddy of mine had a Gixxer1000.... He wrecked it so many times, the whole body was held on with duct-tape.  But, that bitch still ran like a raped-ape!

Check out the new Harley VROD, the Night Rod Special. That is a bad ass bike for 17k. I would take a look at the Buells too.
