Well now she is gone. I got 21k which is exactly what I thought I was going to get.

If there is any lesson you should all learn from mistake is keep the speed at the strip. It may only be 6 seconds of stupidity, but life is defined by 6 seconds of things.

Well,at least you got SOMETHING !

Life isn't over.A year from now and hopefully you can look back on this as a lesson learned .

Oh,don't drop the soap ! :p :D

Sorry ! I couldn't resist ! ;) :D

Actually I will say that it was a transformative experience.

We got a fully loaded buick enclave. At the end of the day I had to buy american and it really is a hell of a car.

The first thing my wife said to me is well I guess now you have to buy a car for the track. That my friends is one hell of a good boss.

Typocheck malfunction.......... Spellcheck is for pussies....;)

Trade in was a good move..... We won't talk about new car depreciation....

D

I will say that the enclave we got (CXL AWD) is well worth every dollar they charge. I am very fortunate to be in a position now to literally buy any car I want and the buick really was the best choice. I have reached the point where I don't need to impress anyone other then my kids and spending another 50 or 100k just to get the same car with a different label doesn't make any sense.\

Plus that leaves more money for a track car. Thinking porsche gt3 cup car or a acr built for the track.

Don't hate on the blue hair mobile!! My wife has one as well (She's young and hot-no blue hair there!). They really are awesome rides-deathly quiet while riding down the road, room for all our rugrats (4 of them:knuddel: ;) ), drives great, and built well. Needs a bit more power for my taste, but she loves it.

Sometimes practical and reliable is a good thing. Having a couple of impractical rides brings back the balance, though.

I do give her a hard time about driving and old lady mobile though.:D

I am looking for a track car next summer and a used porsche or viper that is track only seems to be a good choice. Having just spent more time then i would have cared to away from the family do to a speeding ticket, I will keep it on the track only
