Sir, I think that we have a extremely strong and well led HS sector. I am a bit confused on how much more government we need to accomplished the job at hand without perpetuating the bureaucratic cycle?

Further more, how will he fund this? Taking away from the current force? Is he blaming our failures on our current Defense and Homeland Security Departments?

im glad all of the young people went out and voted but most of the college kids these day shave no clue how important this election was/is. most of the kids that age i see are interested in only keg parties and football tailgating. i think our president elect through superior financing and a great stage presence got hisself elected. am i glad? hell no. but, he is my president and i expect him to deliver on all this change he's been preaching, i just hope i can afford it. oh and the shots of jesse jackson crying made me laugh. if someone was to take a shot at obama i would hope they would miss and hit the reverend. he's a POS in my book

You asked the question, I responded...do you disagree that my comments were possible explanations? You only provided the sound bite...that is the problem with very limited data, it does not provide syntax, or environment and can be misconstrued by those wishing to parse words in their favor...it is a form of information fabrication or in plain terms lying. Some are gullible enough to be taken in...others use critical thinking to accept it for what it is, only a small bit of a larger speech...

I disagree with your initial comment about young people...I find them to be much more informed and involved than I ever was as a college student.

But yes, we need him to deliver on the things he has said to get elected. We also need to be involved in the process. Either being vocal against his plans or in favor...the only disloyal action is to drop out and not work for the future, how ever you see it philosophically.

i guess we will have to agree to dissagree then ive got a son that age and all of his friends dont have a clue. they arent working most have never paid a penny of tax and are going to school on there parents dime. they dont know what work is. seems we are breeding a nation of thinkers not doers. no one can deny obama's ability to inspire and give hope. especially to the african american race. lets hope and pray he can deliver a few of his promises. i dont see a lot getting done with the democratic majority except more government spending and higher taxes. i fear that in four years we will be worse off than we are now. pray i am wrong roy.

One problem with young people is that they haven't experienced anything of substance in their lives. Because of this they tend to be VERY idealistic and don't look at reality. I had a long debate with a close friend of mine (law school student) over the weekend. The liberal ideas he believes in are not in and of themselves bad, my problem is that I can't think of one large policy change that the government didn't then run away with and it turns into something unrecognizable from the original plan. Some examples... income tax, welfare, medicare, parts of the patriot act, abortion, and on and on. IMO one more big step towards socialism will open the door.

For what its worth the (cough) Rev. Jesse Jackson is a POS and a hypocrite. The man hates Obama! I think when that SOB finally dies the black community will finally wake up and get out of the hole they keep digging themselves into.

Not one bit, hence the reason I ask what is the problem with the current "setup" and how he is going to fund it?

It's been my experience that less means more and this applies to speeches and how thoughts are expressed. I find that most of the long speeches or explanations tend to have a big amount of fluff and little substance which usually serves to hide the orator actual thoughts/intentions, forcing us to look for key phrases to understand what the whole speech is about.

Obama and yourself sir, when hurling barbs at folks you have some degree of respect for, are experts at this.

If you would like, I can provide you with examples of when you want to be pretty concise and forward(usually when you are selling a idea or going after someone you have little respect for).

A great example of someone who expresses himself straight and to the point with no fluffing but still eloquently is Tim.

Anyway..I ask again, what is the problem with our current setup and how is he going to fund it?

How long before Israel puts Iran in its sights? After January their US support supposedly will be diminished. The best thing we can do is pray for GOD to keep the USA in his favor!!

Update on Obama's birth and video of paternal grandmother stating Obama was born in Kenya as well as being in the delivery room when he was born.

Will Supreme Court have say in presidency?
Schedule includes campaign response to questions on Obama birthplace

U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter has rejected an emergency appeal for the court to halt the tabulation of the 2008 presidential election results until Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama documents his eligibility to run for the office, according to an attorney who brought the action that challenges the Illinois senator's standing in the race.

However, the issue isn't going away, at least for now, since Souter set a schedule for a response from Obama to the challenge from attorney Philip J. Berg.

As WND reported, Berg brought his claims to the Supreme Court after a federal judge dismissed his lawsuit alleging Obama is ineligible to be president because he possibly was born in Kenya.

The judge concluded Berg lacks standing to bring the action.

    Philip J. Berg

The 34-page memorandum that accompanied the court order from Judge R. Barclay Surrick said ordinary citizens can't sue to ensure that a presidential candidate actually meets the constitutional requirements of the office.

Instead, Surrick said Congress could determine "that citizens, voters, or party members should police the Constitution's eligibility requirements for the Presidency," but that it would take new laws to grant individual citizens that ability.

"Until that time," Surrick says, "voters do not have standing to bring the sort of challenge that Plaintiff attempts to bring."

In a statement today, Berg said he was told by a clerk for Souter that his application for an injunction to stay the election was denied. But he also said the defendants "are required to respond to the Writ of Certiorari" by Dec. 1.

The questions over Obama's eligibility first got traction among Internet bloggers and later were heightened when several campaigns were launched to determine whether a "certificate of live birth" posted on the Internet by the Obama campaign was valid.

The issue gained more attention when Berg told radio talk show host Michael Savage he had an admission from Obama's grandmather that she was at his birth – in Kenya.

"This is a question of who has standing to stand up for our Constitution," Berg told Jeff Schreiber of America's Right blog. "If I don't have standing, if you don't have standing, if your neighbor doesn't have standing to ask whether or not the likely next president of the United States – the most powerful man in the entire world – is eligible to be in that office in the first place, then who does?"

WND senior investigative reporter Jerome Corsi traveled both to Kenya and Hawaii to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth.

But his discoveries only raised more questions.

The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors.

The governor's office in Hawaii said he had a valid certificate but rejected requests for access and left ambiguous its origin. Does the certificate on file with the Department of Health indicate a Hawaii birth or was it generated after the Obama family registered a Kenyan birth in Hawaii.

Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro, has named two different Hawaii hospitals where Obama could have been born.

But a video posted on YouTube features Obama's Kenyan grandmother Sarah claiming to have witnessed Obama's birth in Kenya.

As WND reported, Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court in August, alleging Obama is not a natural-born citizen and is thus ineligible to serve as president of the United States. Berg demanded that Obama provide documentation to the court to verify that the candidate was born in Hawaii, as Obama contends, and not in Kenya, as Berg believes.

True or False. He was born to an American mother therefore he is American no matter what part of the World he was actually delivered in.

Why don't you ask him? How should I know...you simply asked for a plausible explanation, I tried to fill your need. I have not even said that I agree...or disagree with his position. What is your problem?

Why ask me, you don't like my answers or the way I phrase them. Maybe you should try looking beyond the individual phrases...it might give you a little more information.

Never a problem with friends having different views of issues. Your positive approach to the new leader is laudable. While you disagree with his philosophy you want him to move the country forward. There could not be a better statement of your national loyalty.

All hope should not be lost. When all of you who stand behind Obama are standing in the unemployement line hoping to get money to feed your children just remember you fucked yourself.
