Well it seems that my truck has an identical twin here in town.

I was a block from my house when I saw my truck coming down the road towards me, figured Peggy was driving it but why? (Thoughts going on inside the head) She has her Aspen for the Grocery Getter, just didn’t make sense. :dontknow:

As it got closer I notice some guy driving it, OH CRAP, my truck is being stolen (thoughts going on inside the head). Then I noticed the TAG it was not personalized, mine is (Big Relief it is not my truck). :D

So I spin the 300 SRT8 around and try to catch up, takes me about 4 miles, wound up on Interstate 664 here in Chesapeake. The truck is an identical twin to mine, 2006 Mineral Gray Quad Cab. I followed along for about another mile just looking and admiring how nice it looked going down the road (First time I had seen what my truck would look like to other drivers) DARN these things are intimidating going down the road. :congrats:

Anyway, pulled up beside him and got him to roll down his window and told him I had a twin to his, which got the customary “Thumbs Upâ€￾. I then took the next exit and let him go on down the road.

So Who Ever You are, please respond back. It would be great to meet and swap stories. :)

i meant to say this earlier, but it's funny...that wouldn't have been my first thought...

ida been like holy shit my wife's cheating on me!...and let this cocksucker take my truck!...then probably drove straight into him....

maybe i'm just a pessimist, though;)

Mine is red. I am in the chesapeake area every week. Going tonight to see my g/f in vab. I have not seen a grey one in the area.

I live off I-664 over near the M&M Tunnel and work off I-264 (Portsmouth Side) before the Downtown Tunnel. I don't get around town much but would be happy to meet somewhere, maybe get a local group together. Give me a yell if you want to GTG...

Thanks for the reply

Yeah...a GTG at jenro's or bass pro on a saturday at the car shows would be cool. I never see any 10's out there. Lots of cool ass cars and trucks out there tho.
I usually hit up jenro's for a couple hours and then head over to bass pro for the huge car show Saturday afternoons in the spring and summer when there is decent weather. The dodge truck club I am in usually make a small showing there.

Hell, I'm up in Hampton not far across the M&M from you. Bass Pro would be nice but they closed it down months ago. No word on a new place yet. And the cruise in at the Harley Dealer is 74 and older only.

There is a Mopar Show at Hall Dodge on the 28th sponsored by the Mopar Club. I'm planning on being there. You guys game?

Sorry but the 28th I will be with about a dozen other SRT10s at the Dragon Tail Run (thread here on VTCOA for details) at the border of NC an TN, bottom of the Smokey Mtn Parkway. 11 miles with 318 curves, it is going to be a blast.

I am up for getting together with all the SRT10 owners in the Tidewater Area, would be a blast. How about the weekend of April 4th. We could meet one of the large Malls and go from there. AJ Gators, Buffalo Wings, etc....

I think you are the 6th SRT10 I have seen or know about here in the Tidewater area. We have got to get our own group going. Heck yea lets meet and have a good time.

Is the weekend of the 4th good with you?

I am off I-664 near the M&M tunnel. One or two in Hampton. I suggest the Greenbrier Mall area for the first meet. Anyone have a favorite place near there?

I say Jenro's parking lot. There is usually a car show there on saturdays in their parking lot.

I'll have to "see" I mean really have to see. I'm getting eye surgery done then. If all goes well then I'm in.:marchmellow:

If not then just pick a weekend. The only thing I have going is the end of this month with the Dragon Tail Run.... getting close to 20 trucks for it..

Let's see how many SRT10s we can get together, should freek out people to see a bunch of them together. :)

I will be in Chesapeake looking for houses next week but won't have time to meet up. I will move up there in June and deploy in August.

The most we ever had together up there was me, Amoparman and Jrgnd. We went to a dyno day at DTP Performance.

You can count me in. The only thing is I have a crazy job and never know if I have to work or not in advance. But if I'm free I'm in!!!

Flying Low, We are still trying to pick a weekend for the GTG. Don't worry though if you can't make this one there will be others. I think as many Trucks as we have in the area we could be a hit at the local shows.

Watched your vids and they are quite impressive. I also noticed a few jets in the background, from the looks they appeared to be F18s and a couple were painted Blue. Very Impressive indeed! Will be happy to have you in the area.

What area are you going to be looking at for homes? Are you going to be stationed at NOB or at NAB? In either case Welcome.

I was up there all last week. Very busy looking at houses. We got one in Great bridge and will close at the end of May. I will be headed to the USS Nassau for 2 years. Start off as Hanger Deck Officer and end up as Mini Boss. Set to deploy this year.

Scott!! So great to have you coming back into the area again! It hasn't been the same since you left. Too bad you'll be deploying right after that though... We have to be sure and have a going away party for you before then! Drop me a line when you in town next and let me know if you need any help with anything...
