How Rare are the Ram SRT 10 trucks

Some math..

If you invested $30,000 into whatever at 5% compounded annually for 20 yrs you would end up with $79,599...

$35,000 invested = $92,866.

$40,000 invested = $106,132

Remember that over the 20 yr period you will have to spend for maintenance on the truck.

Upside for the truck is you cant drive an equity..

I think another indication that there is a small hint of "unique vehicle" interest, is the fact that two ended up at auction this year. I believe one at Barret-Jackson, the other at Macom.:dontknow: :) As well as the continued slow but steady "newbies" here, who seem genuinely excited, no matter what the economy is doing right now. PS newsflash............ALL vehicle sales are off ...A-Z. Thanks Tony for starting this conversation, again, and getting the juices flowing.

RM has a "Classic Car" auction coming up April 25-26 in Michigan.

The ONLY Dodge listed so far is a...

2005 Dodge SRT-10 Commemorative Edition Pickup

Two other MoPars listed, a AAR Cuda and a '36 Plymouth Rod, this could be good news for our trucks?:dontknow::confused:

I think there was a total of around 15000 SRT10's built. 2005 being the biggest build model year, then 2004 and then in 2006 they only built around 700-800 trucks. So you figure there's a few out there that has been wrecked from Forum members and etc.

This is why I called the truck an "unique vehicle". Wether or not it ever becomes truely "collectible" is only speculation (great for a thread subject!!)
One of the biggest reasons I stay stock, is , it is very difficult to find QUALIFIED technicians to work on these motors. I believe the closest is Tator Dodge. Still, quite a drive for me. The other reason, is , bone stock, It still can scare the bejeesus out of me! :p

Maybe I actually have a life and don't post on this forum every day like you do. I took a vacation from this place for a while.

Didn't mean to step on your toes or ruin your day...just trying to get the most accurate data into your hands.

And I don't post every day...last year, or maybe the year before, my computer was down...but now that you mention it...it was only down for a few hours.

:dontknow: You would think the insurance coverage would be higher too.. :proud:But it isn't and I'm damn glad.

To insure mine with what I have on it, the guy at State farm wanted to insure it for 100,000.00 I said what does that work out to? and it was like 300.00 a month or so. I told him I'd drive safe lol.

Numbers being reduced

You can redo the numbers a little judging from this website. When I had a Firehawk I was on a website that tracked the VIN's and would update as people reported in VIN's that were salvaged. Don't know if that would be possible for here or not.

I know at least 4 have been totaled locally 2 black rc.1 inferno red qc,1 yellow fever qc. one of the black rc's flipped end over end both occupants died (alcohol & street racing involved )
