I am if I could find a good job offer down there I'd take it. I'm so sick of the corporate bullcrap at my job and my union is doing nothing to help us. So after the truck is paid off I'm really thinking about going to work for a friends company in md.

Joe, if you meet up with (amoparman) - Stretch he is great people and will help you anyway he can. There are many but it depends on what you want, if you are a baller lol. But Omni Hotel is beautiful or I would suggest Best Western off Jefferson Blvd in Newport News, cheap and beautiful and roomy for the price.
 
For hotels it all comes down to personal preference really. The wife and I use Holiday Inn and collect the points for free nights.

As far as meeting up, I believe that's the weekend the wife and I are in Harrisonburg for a wedding... Let me know when your plans are firmer and I'll check the calander.
