That's going into the 2011 which the dealer said would start production in Feb. He suggested staying away until the engine gets sorted out, but that can also be a ploy to sell what they have in stock today.GADodgetech said:If im not mistaken thats the new diesel ford produced in house, or is it 2010? :dontknow:

The F250 was much quieter, had a better ride and was optioned to the max with the only thing missing being rear entertainment system. While it doesn't jump off the line like the 10 you can feel the torque as it pulls hard. While MSRP is $57.8, their first offer of $54.4 is awful steep before the $5K rebate. Edmunds shows them going for $47K with the rebate so maybe there's another $2.5K to squeeze out of the deal. The F350 seems priced about the same although I didn't drive one. Beside towing capacity and maybe resale any other differences with the F250?
Yea what ever the deaer has listed msrp there's usually $10k they can knock off right off the bat. If you negotiate anything past that it's just bonus money for you!!SRTINCT said:Thanks for the feedback. It was night and day driving it compared to the 10. when i was working for a local construction company, i started driving a 2500 cummins 4x4 5spd...pulling a 20k# cat .... then we got a 550 ford with a dump bed....that POS was in the shop all the time...the trans kept overheating, the cam sensors went out, it leaked oil, i think from the turbo, and this was bought new...the trans was getting so bad (overheating all the time with a load) the last time it did it, we took it it to the shop, and they couldn't get it to do it, so they said "you're gonna have to hook your rig up, and bring it back to see if we can do it before we open this transmission."...uhhh...no....left the ford dealer, and went straight to the dodge dealer and traded it on a 3500 dually 6spd 4x4......NEVER had an issue with it....
i would check out the new dodge's if it were me...
but my buddy just got a duramax single wheel 4x4....with the allison trans....he hasn't had any issues, yet....but he hasn't had it long, either...
